VISION
STATEMENT
It
is the vision of all stakeholders of the Pitcher Junior High School
community that all students develop academically, technologically,
and socially in order to excel in today's global society. We also
believe that inherent to academic strides, we educate the child
to become a self-started learner who knows how to respectfully interact
with others, demonstrate responsibility for his/her own actions
and show good citizenship at school and in the community.
SCHOOL
PHILOSOPHY
In
accordance with the State of Louisiana Department of Education's
Positive Behavior Support program, the administration, faculty and
staff have adopted the PROUD Philosophy. Our students are taught
these expectations to provide a foundation for creating a learning
environment that allows us to acheive our vision. Included in this
program are rewards for students who demonstrate these expectations.
Our reward program includes: Panther Bucks to purchase rewards of
their choice; Pawprints are used to recognize students who go above
and beyond, demonstrating leadership; Quarterly PROUD party; Perfect
Attendance Party,
